Welcome

Welcome to the N5HQ home page.  I've been away from Ham Radio for a few years and I'm now in a place in my life where I can get back into the hobby.  I've added a room onto the house that is now my Ham Shack.  I've installed a tower and installed a Force 12 C3 Tri-band beam, a 160 meter Carolina Windom, a Comet GP-9 Dial band Vertical , an 11 element Crushcraft two meter beam and a Discone antenna for the scanner.  In December 2013 I purchassed a Kenwood TS-2000.  It is feeding a Ameritron AL-80A Amplifier to a Tucker T-3000 Tuner for HF.  I also have a Kenwood TM-D710 VHF/UHF running APRS and FM voice.  So the station is comming togather.  In addition to Amateur Radio, I also enjoy ridding my motorcycle.  Here are the states I've visited on by Goldwing GL1500.  As you can see I have been riding a little.

Another interest I have is the SETI Project.  I have been processing data packet for the SETI@Home Project since it first started.  While you're here check out my score.
